Cautious comments by executives of terrestrial TV networks indicate that regular 3-D programming may still be years away. Still, the beginning of the 3-D TV era looks fairly rosy. Panasonic Corp. will release its first 3-D model this month, while Sony Corp. is eying a June start. Sharp Corp. plans to begin 3-D sales this summer.
